First, you will need to decide which category or categories of logos you want to display. For the purposes of this tutorial, we will assume that you want to display logos from multiple categories. We’ll also teach you how to display company logos from a certain category. Once you have decided on the categories, the next step is to gather all of the logos that you want to display. If you already have them saved on your computer, great! If not, you can either save them from the web or create them yourself.
Once you have all of the logos that you need, the next step is to upload them to your WordPress site. If you haven’t already, download and install GS Logo Slider. You can learn how to add a new logo for the logo slider, as well as company name, URL, and Logo categories. For the purpose of demonstration, we’ll make use of a few different logo categories such as Client, Portfolio, Projects, and Misc.
Once all of the logos are added to GS Logo Slider plugin, the next step is to create a new shortcode.
We’ve already created a few distinct logo categories and assigned logos. We’d like to showcase logos from a single category, such as Portfolio, or many categories, such as Client, Projects, and Misc.
